A Gesso Pre-Coated Finish

The Perimeter range of mouldings have been primed at the point of manufacture with a matt white coating that bonds to the moulding’s surface. This Gesso coating is a combination of paint, water and adhesive that typically performs through-out the installation process, reducing touching up prior to final painting.

With a finish that has been factory-applied to surfaces of the moulding, the end result is a fully pre-coated moulding ready for painting. In most applications a single coat of premium oil-based or acrylic (water-based) paint will yield a high quality finish to your skirtings, architraves and other fix-out mouldings.

# The coating on the range of Woodhouse Perimeter® Gesso Pre-Coated Mouldings has been machine applied to provide a surface coating suitable for final finishing. Whilst in most instances a single application of topcoat paint is suitable, the quality of the painted surface following this application may demand and require further additional coats. This requirement is subjective and may be affected by the quality of the topcoat paint used; the application of the coating; and the desired outcomes of the end user.
